Application :

For pumping corrosive acids, alkalies, oils, solvents etc., with sufficient lubricating properties in various process industries like chemical, petro-chemical, refinery, fertilizer etc. For liquids having temperature in the range - 10⁰C to 150⁰C and pressure up to 24 kg/cm² depending on materials of construction. For pit depths up to 5.5 metres.

Constructional Features :

KPDS pumps are single stage, single suction, vertical spindle type. Available in 33 sizes.

Casing :

Volute type, Blind stud holes withstand high pressure liquid areas. Adequate corrosion allowance on wall thickness.

Impeller :

Enclosed type statically and dynamically balanced. Hydraulically balanced by back vanes on back shroud of impeller. Semi open impeller also available on request.

Shaft :

Intermediate, line and head shaft of ample strength and rigidity. Minimum bearing span to keep deflection and vibration to a minimum.

Stuffing Box :

Fitted at support plate level comprising five packings and a lantern ring. Grease sealing, Sealing by water/liquid  optional. Mechanical seal instead of packings can be offered against specific requirements. A cooling jacket is also provided.

Pipes :

Fabricated column and taper column pipes of thick steel/stainless steel.
